A relatively simple program, Your Ideal Weight still has some neat features. The interface looks nice, making use of calming colors and a few cute cartoons of a figure on a bathroom scale. Simply follow the prompts Your Ideal Weight gives you, and the app does the rest in calculating your BMI and the resulting ideal weight for you.
Your Ideal Weight asks you for information like your current weight, age, gender, and height in making its calculations. From time to time as you go through the process of filling out your information, an informative fact will pop up between screens. This happens just often enough to feel useful, as opposed to annoying. These facts often consist of short descriptions of different physical considerations for men and women.
When you're done imputing your information into Your Ideal Weight, you'll be given your body mass index (BMI). Your Ideal Weight also gives you a table to let you know what BMI numbers are considered unhealthy in both directions away from the norm. Immediately after this page, you'll be given a weight range that is considered your ideal weight based on the information you provided.
While it's a fun and informative program, Your Ideal Weight unfortunately doesn't tell you how to get within your ideal weight range if you're not already there, substantially limiting its usefulness.
